Anxiety

Anxiety is a feeling of worry, fear, and unease that can range from mild to severe. It is a normal emotion that everyone experiences. Depression

 Depression is a mood disorder characterized by persistent feelings of sadness, emptiness, and hopelessness, as well as a lack of interest in activities that were once pleasurable. Symptoms of depression can include difficulty concentrating, insomnia, fatigue, and suicidal thoughts. It is important to seek professional help when dealing with depression as it can have serious long-term effects on physical and mental health. We apply evidence-based treatments aimed to reduce and manage symptoms of depression and identify the underlying cause.

Trauma and PTSD

Trauma and PTSD are psychological conditions that arise from an individual's experience of a traumatic event. Trauma can be physical, emotional, or psychological in origin, and can lead to significant changes in how an individual perceives and responds to their environment. PTSD is a type of trauma that is characterized by the development of symptoms such as intrusive memories, nightmares, hypervigilance, and avoidance.

ADHD

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects a person’s ability to pay attention, control impulsive behaviors, and manage activities. Psychotherapy can help those with ADHD manage their symptoms and lead a more successful life. Family therapy can help families better understand and support their loved one with ADHD.

Personality Disorders

A personality disorder is a mental health condition that affects how a person thinks, behaves, and interacts with others. Sex and Sexual Issues

Sex and sexuality in psychotherapy is the exploration of an individual’s thoughts, feelings, and behaviors related to their gender identity, sex-related beliefs, and sexual orientation. Our therapists work with individuals to explore and understand their own sexuality and sexual needs, as well as the impact of society and culture on their sexual identity. Through this process, clients can gain better insight into themselves, their relationships, and their ability to create and maintain healthy, fulfilling sexual experiences.

Couple/Relationship Issues

We understand that relationships can be difficult to navigate. Our therapists specialize in couple therapy and specific issues couples face in their relationship, such as infidelity, balancing roles, parenting, resolving conflicts, communication, trust, emotional, physical and/or sexual intimacy. Through therapy sessions, we help couples gain insight and understanding into their relationship, as well as create strategies to shift unhealthy patterns and build a healthier and more fulfilling relationship.
