Parenting Support in Ottawa

Parenting with calm and confidence is hard, especially when your child is struggling, the household is under stress, or you and your co-parent see things differently. No matter how frustrated or defeated you feel, it's possible to learn new ways of connecting with your child that work for both of you.

What We Can Help With

  • Challenging behaviour, meltdowns and power struggles

  • Parenting a child with anxiety, ADHD or other mental health challenges

  • Co-parenting, separation and blended families

  • Supporting teens through big changes

  • Parenting as a military family through relocations and deployments

  • Your own stress, guilt or burnout as a parent

How Parenting Consultation Works

Instead of focusing only on getting your child to behave, we look at why your child may be struggling to meet expectations. From there, you'll build practical strategies to respond in a way that is calm, consistent and effective. Sessions can be with one parent, both parents, or with your child or the whole family.
