Barb, a Canadian Forces Veteran, holds a Graduate Diploma in Art Therapy from the Canadian International Institute of Art Therapy and is a certified Trauma Releasing Exercises (TRE) provider. Specializing in individual and couples therapy, Barb has a particular focus on supporting Veterans and their relationships. Her training includes art therapy, addictions (as a SMART Recovery Facilitator), trauma, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and somatic approaches such as focusing, mindfulness, and breathwork.

With years of experience as a Family Peer Supporter, Barb is highly skilled in applyingthe Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) model to empower parents and caregivers. Barb’s prior work as an executive coach brings focus and structure to her therapy work.
