CRPO Exam Preparation

Specialized training to assist Registered Psychotherapists (Qualifying) study and prepare for their qualifying exams with the College of Registered Psychotherapists in Ontario.

An Administrative Overview: The first hour covers essential preparation details, including important dates, technical requirements for your computer setup, and helpful web links.

Review of Exam Format and Competencies: The second portion focuses on the exam's structure and how the required competencies are represented.

Exam Question Review: The final 90–120 minutes are dedicated to reviewing practice questions similar to those found on the actual exam.

Following the webinar, you will receive a resource manual of over 50 pages. This manual includes detailed information on the topics discussed, source references, and up-to-date web links. It also features example questions with explanations regarding marking and how they relate to CRPO competencies.

Additionally, you will be granted 30-day access to our online practice exams, which are designed to replicate the actual CRPO exam experience.

Shelley Colter, MA, RP, RMFT-S

Shelley Colter is a Registered Psychotherapist and Marriage and Family Therapist. Using her previous experiences as a Military Instructor, Shelley developed a training program to assist RP's prepare for the CRPO exam. Over the past 8 years, her instructional approach, comprehensive assessment skills, knowledge of the Standards of Professional Practice and application of case simulations have proven successful in preparing RP (Qualifying) members to write and pass the exam.
