Sandra Martins is an experienced registered psychotherapist who works with youth, adults, couples, and families. Using a client-centered and integrative approach, she draws on various therapeutic modalities to create an experience tailored to meet her clients’ needs and therapeutic goals as they work towards psychological, emotional, and relational well-being. Her approach draws from developmental, relational, psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and emotionally focused orientations.
Sandra works with issues relating to anxiety, depression, anger, grief and loss, traumatic experiences, difficult life transitions, relational distress, and issues relating to pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. Sandra is a military veteran spouse and has a special interest in working with military members, veterans and veteran couples and families.
Sandra is a graduate level educator and trainer in couple and family therapy and provides clinical supervision to interns and qualifying psychotherapists working to develop their professional competencies. She is committed to professional development in order to provide her clients with the best possible care.
